Barbara

Barbara, I love you I heard her say,

Until you had arrived her mind had lost its way,

You came with compassion, gentleness and care,

Then when you called “Pamela” she was there,

Her heart had broken, but then continued to beat,

Pamela’s family in fear did retreat,

They called and called to her with no avail,

As Pamela in great distress quivered and quailed,

To her loved ones she was unable to speak,

One could feel their anxiety reaching its peak,

Then Barbara came to nurse her so carefully,

Pamela rewarded her with such sincerety,

With emotions welling up inside,

She said I love you as you stood by her side.
